  • The biggest drawback to a buyer’s agent is the fee, but with the right buyer’s agent you will make that money back and then some with the money they save you by having them handle negotiating the purchase of a property.

  • The whole process can take 1-3 months to find and secure the right property. Sometimes quicker or slower, it really depends on your goals and the availability of quality properties.

  • Fees are fixed. Half of the fee will be paid up front as a retainer once we have put together your strategy and before we start market research. The rest is paid upon unconditional sale.

  • It really depends on each individual client. Without having a full picture of your scenario it's hard to say which market is most suited which is why our strategy session is pivotal in creating the purchasing brief.

  • We work with our clients to create a brief, when it comes to investing we do need to focus on the numbers rather than the features of the house unless it could cause headaches down the track like high retaining walls and pools.

  • If for whatever reason you have to pause your search we'd resume it when you're able to buy again even if that was past the 12 months period. Contracts just require an end date and we wouldn't be keeping your retainer if we couldn't provide the service.

  • As long as you have a strong indication of your borrowing capacity you don't need preapproval to start. It's only really when you present a signed COS that the banks will seriously start putting it all together and they are only valid for 3 months so they often lapse over.
